TrailBouncer VR

TrailBouncer is a fast-paced VR racing game. By bouncing and moving a ball, you build up speed and navigate through different worlds.

Since our development team was very small, I built the entire environment modularly so that the game designer has as much freedom as possible. This system resulted in 5 worlds, each with 4 levels. Each world has its own theme and color concept. Large, unique buildings nevertheless provide individuality for each level. The game was Meta Quest exclusive and was released at first for Quest 1 so the models had to be extremely optimized. I achieved this by using a special low-poly style and a single color atlas per world.

I was employed as environment artist on the project and built over 300 individual objects, worked on the lighting and level art. I also co-designed the promo material.
